SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment Exam 2013 Online Application Form

SSC Junior Engineer JobsStaff Selection Commission is an Indian recruiting agency set up central government to entail deserving candidates as a Group B and C cadre officers in various central government departments. What is the Academic Eligibility?
To appear for this exam the applicant must satisfy the eligibility criteria; SSC defined the education qualification as Diploma or Engineering Degree from an Indian government recognised institution. Any one of this qualification must be obtained in the disciplines of Civil or Mechanical and Electrical.

Age Restrictions and Relaxations:
Candidates must be 18 to 27 years of age for the posts junior engineer in the department of CPWD, Department of Posts and for (Quantity Surveying and Contract) discipline in MES. For all other disciplines in MES, the upper age limit is 30 years and 32 years for the vacancies in CWC and Farakka Barrage. There is an age relaxation for reserved category and for person with disabilities candidates which is applicable as per rules.

Shortlisting and Recruitment Process:
All applications will be scrutinized and shortlisted based on their academic profile, they will be issued a admit card and invited for written exam on the date mentioned below. Applicants who score better marks will be further invited for personal Interview.

What you will Get as a Junior Engineer?
Selected candidates will be appointed as a Junior Engineer in Group B cadre of General Central Service (Technical Assistant), this cadre owes a salary of Rs.9300-34800/- per month including a grade pay of Rs.4200/- which is based on the pay band two.

Application Fee for this Exam:
Candidates are requested to pay an examination fee of Rs.100/- by using payment Challan or Net Banking service of State Bank of India only. Other form of fee transaction will not be accepted. Reserved category, PWD and Women candidates are exempted from fee payment.

How to Register Online Application?
Online registration is the only application process, it consists of two steps of registration namely Part-1 and Part-2. No other form of application will be entertained. The instructions below brief a clear idea about the online application process.
  1. At first you have to log onto the website www.ssconline.nic.in.
  2. There exists a menu named "Examination", choose Part-1 from that menu.
  3. Fill all the requested details and submit the registration form by clicking the "I Agree" button.
  4. Then a system generated Challan with registration number will appear on the next page.
  5. Using this Challan or by mentioning the registration number you can pay the application fee.
  6. After that once again log onto the above said website and choose the Part-2 application.
  7. In this part you have to upload the scanned photo, signature and the fee payment details.
  8. Once you finish all this process check the form for any corrections and submit it.
  9. After the successful completion of this process you will receive a confirmation email.
  10. Keep the email and fee payment details safely for future reference.
