Eligibility Criteria:
For medical courses candidates must obtained a minimum of 50% marks aggregate in (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in their PUC or 12th standard examination with English as one of the subject. For Engineering courses the aggregate minimum marks in (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) is 50% for reserved category candidates 40% marks is eligible for these courses. Just a pass mark is eligible for B.Sc and Agriculture Technology courses. For the course number 6 the eligibility criteria are same as that for the medical courses.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
The syllabus for this examination is nothing but your PUC or 12th class subjects only. Within that subject only the questions will be asked for the common entrance examination. Candidates have to go through all the subjects thoroughly to score good marks. The exam pattern comprise four subjects, one practical test and one language test, if you applied for the engineering course you need to appear for the Physics, Chemistry and Maths exam, for medical courses the candidates have to appear for Biology instead of Maths. All these four subjects carry 60 marks each. To claim seat under Agriculture Quota the aspirant need to undergo practical test will be conducted for 200 marks. Kannada language test will be conducted for Horanadu and Gadinadu Students which consists of 50 marks.

Exam Date and Time Table:
The exams will starts on 1st May 2013 and ends at 10th May 2013. Exams will be conducted in both forenoon and afternoon sessions for duration of 1 hour 20 minutes. Meanwhile, the language test will be conducted for Horanadu and Gadinadu Students for 1 hour which comprises 50 marks and practical test will be conducted for applicants who are seeking admission for agriculture related courses, this exam takes place on the last date of the schedule.
