It is incorporated by amalgamating Doordarshan television network and All India Radio to form the Broadcasting Corporation Prasar Bharati. As a public broadcaster it offers various regional services which represent the ethnicity of all state and territories. To carry out these entire task a well trained and technically qualified employees are need in large numbers. As a reason, it recruits employees periodically.

Recently Prasar Bharati has issued a recruitment notification for Junior Engineers and Technical Assistants. Many aspirants with engineering and diploma qualification applied for those vacancies. Academic Qualification:
Applicants who possess Any Degree or M.A or M.Sc with proficiency in regional languages and other qualifications which are relevant to the above mentioned vacancies can apply for these posts. Age Restrictions:
The maximum age limit for all posts as on 1st January 2013 is restricted to 30 years. However, relaxation in upper age limit can be claimed by reserved category applicants by providing necessary certificates.

Recruitment Process:
Selection is purely based on merit process. As a selection process candidates need to appear for written exam, aspirants who are scoring good marks in the written exam will be further invited for personal Interview. Based on the overall performance the final selection will be carried out.

Pay Scale:
Selected applicants will be appointed as a Program and Transmission Executives under the Group B cadre. As per notification the employees will get salary according to the pay band two, which pays around Rs.9300-34800/- with the grade pay ranges from Rs.4200-4900/- per month.

Application Fee:
Candidates belong to Female, SC/ST, PH and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying exam fee. Others need to pay Rs.200/- as application fee by means of Challan deposit in State Bank of India or by using the net banking facility of SBI bank.

How to Fill Online Application:
Online Registration is the only mode of application process for this recruitment. This application consists of two stage of registration, namely Part-I and Part-II. A dedicated portal is provided by SSC to fill the online application.

Part-I Registration:
  1. Log on to the website "" and choose the link Executives Recruitment.
  2. From that choose the menu "Examination" from the right top of the page.
  3. You need to click Part-I registration from it.
  4. In the Part-I registration you need to enter you personal and academic details.
  5. After that verify the given details and complete the first step by clicking "Submit".
  6. As an acknowledgement you will receive a Registration ID, take a print on it for reference.
Part-II Registration:
  1. Before proceeding with Part-II registration you need to pay Exam fee by the above said process.
  2. After successful payment transaction you need to start the Part-II registration.
  3. In Part-II you need to upload the fee payment transaction details. Scanned color photo and signature.
  4. Then you need to complete the process by clicking "Submit".
  5. After that a conformation message will be send to your Email.
  6. Also a filled in application in a printable format will be generated by the system.
  7. Take a printout of it for future reference.
