Export Inspection Council of India is a Quality Control and Inspection agency established by Indian Government to provide quality assurance to the products which are being exported. The role of EIC is to certify the quality of export commodities, foods and to provide guidance to exporters regarding the tariff and other schemes which are profitable for export products. It is administrated by the Ministry of Commerce and functions from various metro cities of the country.
This reputed organisation invites application form eligible aspirants for the engagement of vacant positions in various designations. Among the available vacancies most of the posts are preferable for engineering graduates; candidates with other qualifications may also apply for these jobs. For the posts with Serial No-8 to 10 the required qualification is High School with experience in Food Testing and Type writing efficiency in desired speed. For all the Technical and Scientific designations candidates must possess degree in Engineering or Technology or in Science (BE/B.Tech, B.Sc) with desirable post qualification experience in relevant discipline. For all other vacancies the candidates need to possess Degree in relevant designation.
For the posts up to the serial no-7 the age limit lies between 25 to 35 years, whereas for the remaining posts the upper age limit is 25 years. However, candidates belonging to reservation category can claim age relaxation by submitting necessary document.
Deserving candidates will be selected based on the performance or marks scored in the written test and Interview conducted EIC of India.
As an application fee, a Demand Draft has to be drawn in favour of ‘Export Inspection Council of India’ payable at New Delhi for an amount of Rs.500/- only. This fee has to be paid only by General and OBC category candidates, all others are exempted from paying fee.

The application format is available in the official website of EIC; candidates are advised to download the copy from there. Fill this with all details which are mandatory, then affix a photograph on the space provided in it and make signature in the appropriate area. Attach the attested copies of all required documents along with the Demand Draft and Application form.
