Staff Selection CommissionStaff Selection Commission issued a recruitment notification on behalf of Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces to engage energetic and young aspirants in the designation of Sub Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector. As we know Staff Selection Commission is the prime organisation or recruitment agency which is responsible for all recruitment taken place for Central Government Departments and Ministries. Recently Central Armed Police Force in coalition with SSC recruited huge number of Constables posts for various Police Forces, followed by that SSC issued this notification.

Department Wise Vacancy Details:
  1. Total Sub-Inspector Vacancy in CAPFs - 1176
  2. Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF - 734 posts
  3. Sub-Inspector Vacancy in Delhi Police - 330 posts
    Education Qualification:
    Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with pass marks obtained from any recognised institution is eligible to apply for these posts. For Male candidates applying for the Sub-Inspector vacancy in Delhi Police must possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle Driving License.

    Age Limit:
    Aspirants seeking for the Sub-Inspector job must not be more than 25 years of age. But, candidates belonging to OBC and SC/ST category will get the age relaxation benefit by providing a valid community certification during the selection process. The upper age limit will be calculated as on 1st of January 2013.

    Selection Process:
    The selection process comprises written test, Physical test, Medical test and Interview. At first the applicants undergo written exam by evaluating the marks obtained in the written test they will further undergo Physical test. The physical test taken place in two stages that are, Physical Efficiency test and Physical Standards test. Finally the medical and personal Interview will be carried out.

    Application Fee:
    General and OBC category applicants only need to pay the application fee. In case you are applying in Offline mode you need to paste a "Central Recruitment Fee Stamp" in application form by getting it from the Post Offices. For online registration you need to pay the same amount of fee by depositing it in the State Bank of India branch by using Challan or transfer by using the Net Banking service of SBI.

    Application Procedure:
    The candidates can either apply Online or Offline. For offline application candidates need to download the application from the official notification and fill it with required details. Then send this in an envelope by attaching the attested copies of necessary certificates and documents.

    How to apply Online:
    For Online registration applicants need to fill application in the "" before the closing date. Before applying keep all the data with hand to provide the right information while applying. A valid Email ID is important because the future communication regarding the interview will be preferred by this ID only.
    1. Log on to the above said website and choose "Examinations" and "Part-I Registration" from the menu above.
    2. A new form will open you have to enter all your details, then verify the given details and submit it.
    3. After successful submission the system will generate page containing the Registration ID.
    4. Using this ID make a fee payment and take note on this ID for Part-II registration.
    5. After fee payment once again log on to the website and fill the Part-II registration.
    6. In the Part-II registration you need to upload the payment details, photo and scanned signature and submit it.
    7. When all these processes are over the system will generate a filled application, take a printout of it for future reference.
