BIS Recruitment 2013 in Apprentice Vacancy for Engineering Graduates

Bureau of Indian Standards is an organization working under the Indian Government which is a national Standards Body responsible to certify the quality of products in the industry. It is incorporated in the year 1986 and it is organized by the committee of 25 members who are drawn from various organizations of Central and State Government. This organization issued an advertisement regarding the availability of apprenticeship vacancy for mechanical and electrical grade candidates. Followed by this it invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals to undergo apprentice training in the north regional laboratory of BIS.   • Mechanical - 7 (Engg-6, Dip-1)
  • Electrical - 5 (Engg-4, Dip-1)
Education Qualification:
For the Engineering Graduates the eligible qualification is B.E/B.Tech in the relevant discipline with 50% of marks obtained from an AICTE recognized institute is mandatory. If the applicant is willing to apply for Diploma vacancy he must obtained a Diploma qualification from a State Board of Technical Education or UGC recognized institute. Candidates who are in their final semester of the academic can also apply for this job. However, they must be passed with the above said percentage while joining in BIS.

Reservation and Limitations:
There is no specific age limit is mentioned, but candidates who else completed the above mentioned course before 2011 are not eligible. There is reservation in the available posts according to the community which is partitioned as 27% for OBC, 15 % for SC and 7.5 % for ST candidates.

Selection Process:
Selection for this vacancy will be based on the performance in interview. A personal interview will be conducted by BIS to shortlist deserving candidates. The final results and the selected applicants will be informed through E-Mail communication.

Salary or Stipend:
As an apprentice trainee the Graduate Engineer will get a consolidated stipend of Rs.10000/- per month and for Diploma trainees the stipend will be limited to Rs.7000/- per month.

Recently Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has issued a notification regarding the inclusion of deserving candidates in the designation of Telecom Technical Assistant. This recruitment will comprise a several stages of shortlisting process, one among that is the written examination. TN TRB Teachers Recruitment Board Exam Application Form 2013

Government of Tamil Nadu to engage qualified candidates in the schools within the state. Education Qualification:
Applicants must possess a post graduate qualification in any of the above mentioned subjects to apply for this examination. The degree which are eligible for these subjects are M.Sc, M.Com and M.A; along with any of this qualification it is mandatory to be awarded with B.Ed degree.

Age Limit:
Individuals who are applying for this job should not be more than 57 years of age as on 1st of July 2013. There is no category wise relaxation for these vacancies, but the allocation of posts for a particular subject depends upon the reservation.

Selection Process:
The selection process comprises two stages of short listing. At first the applied candidates will be invited for written examination on the scheduled date. Based on the marks obtained in the written test further they will undergo personal interview which is the final stage in the selection process.

Pay Scale:
Selected candidates will be placed as a PG Assistants in any of the schools of Tamil Nadu with a monthly salary according to the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- per month along with a grade pay of Rs.4800/- per month.

The application form will be available in an OMR format which can be obtained from the offices of "The Chief Educational Officer" of all districts. It costs Rs.50/- candidates may pay this fee in person and get the application immediately from the respective office of their district belongs to.

How to Submit Application:
All candidates need to pay Rs.500/- except the reserved category applicants. These reserved category applicants need to pay half the amount from others, which is Rs.250/- only. Candidates are requested to pay this fee by means of cash deposit in any of the SBI/Indian Bank branches using the Challan available in the application prospectus.
