RBI Assistant Exam Syllabus, Question Pattern and Exam Dates

Reserve Bank of India has scheduled to conduct an online test against the selection process for the recruitment of Assistants. RBI already issued a detailed advertisement mentioning the recruitment and its eligibility criteria. Based on this requirements it received online applications from the qualified candidates in a prescribed format. Followed by that the selection scheme for the Assistant job requires written exam, this exam will be conducted in various centers of the country through online.

To appear for this exam all candidates must know the exam pattern and syllabus for this exam, to help those aspirants we have provided a detailed description about the syllabus and question pattern of this exam. Candidates may refer this syllabus to prepare for this test, prepare with good study materials and make use of the previous question papers.
Exam Syllabus:
The exam syllabus comprises five varying sections; each of these sections weighs a same amount of marks in the question paper. The five subjects covered in the syllabus are,
  1. Reasoning
  2. English Language
  3. Numerical Ability
  4. General Awareness
  5. Computer Knowledge
Except the English Language test all other topics contains the questions in bilingual format. This means, the questions in other four sections will present both in English and Hindi. Candidates can answer for these questions in any of the language.

Exam Pattern:
The exam will be conducted for a maximum of 200 marks, all the five sections carries 40 marks each and the candidates have to score pass mark separately in each sections. There will also be negative marks, which is 1/4th of marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Each questions asked in all sections will be in the form of objective type and the each question carries one mark. On the whole each section carries 40 marks and the cumulative marks in all sections will be calculated as 200 marks.
Exam Dates:
RBI has schedule four different days to host the exam these dates are,
  • 20th July 2013
  • 21st July 2013
  • 27th July 2013 and
  • 28th July 2013
