UPSC Geologist Exam Syllabus
UPSC Geologist Exam Syllabus and Exam Pattern: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts examination for the recruitment of Geologists every year. Job seekers who are graduated in degree related to Geology will appear for this examination, by this year the notification for this examination has been issued by UPSC on 24th August 2013.

Exam Pattern:
The Geologist exam pattern consists of five papers; each exam will be hosted for duration of 3 hours. The General English paper carries 100 marks and all others carry 200 marks each. The examination for all the papers will be in the form of essay type and all the questions must be answered in English only. Marks will be given on considering the combination of orderly, effective and exact expression of words.

  2. Geology-I - 200 Marks
  3. Geology-II - 200 Marks
  4. Geology-III - 200 Marks
  5. Hydrogeology - 200 Marks
